Flight sim titles:
Our current Flight-Sim title is IL2 Great Battles. We are using Kuban and Bodenplatte (Rhineland) maps as main theater of operations. We fly both Co-op Campaign and quick missions depending on the numbers of the evening.
In-game communication:
In all our flighn all our races we use Discord as our form of communication. That means you will have to get a mic and also install Discord on your computer (or phone if you like that) to be able to communicate.
When?
We usually set up a flight when we feel like it or when there is a demand for it.
Our flight server is not up 24/7, but will be set for the nights we fly missions.
What?
In IL2 we have moved most of our activity to the Rhineland (Bodenplatte) map now. We do our flights in 2 ways, quick-mission co-op or generated co-op campaign depending on the turn out we have that evening.
In DCS we use all the maps available as the situation requires. If new personnel comes in then we can use completely free content too. Our missions range from in-house buildt training missions to full co-op campaigns.
How?
To fly with us you would need to own IL2 Battle of Bodenplatte. This can be purchased as standalone from IL2 BOS website or through Steam. If you do purchase through Steam you will first need to get Battle of Stalingrad as a base. We recommend purchasing everything through the official website of IL2 BOS.
We also recommend you have a joystick or HOTAS for the best control in game.
A VR headset is also something that will go a long way in regards of immersion, but this is of course not required.
DCS world is free as a base game with a couple airplanes. Join us for more information.
